Tournament structure & financial transparency

Why ALL events are built for players

Every ALL event is designed to maximize value and minimize financial barriers. From your local course to the national tour, here's how the structure works for players who join the ALL-PA and compete.

Local events: the "at-cost" grassroots standard

  • Pricing model: Strictly "at-cost" greens fees.
  • Technology fee: A minimal $5–$10 maximum may be added strictly to cover digital infrastructure costs (live-scoring apps and ALL-PI rankings management).
  • The value: Play on your home turf, get your scores to count directly toward official ALL regional and national rankings, and enjoy competitive play without inflated tournament overhead.

Regional events: flexible à la carte & all-inclusive options

  • À la carte pricing: Pay just the foundational greens fees and registration minimums if you prefer to handle your own travel, meals, and lodging.
  • All-inclusive packages: Optional tiers that bundle tournament registration, practice rounds, catered group meals, and player swag into one price.
  • Prize pools: Optional side pots or a portion of upgraded registration tiers fund localized cash and gear payouts.
  • Sponsorship: Local hosts are encouraged to obtain sponsorship from local businesses but are not required to. Prize pot estimates are shared within 2 weeks of an event.

National tour stops: elite competition & heavy sponsor support

  • Registration ceiling: Goal is to keep registration under $150/day of play, keeping elite competition financially attainable.
  • Sponsor-driven value: Brand partners subsidize the true cost of the event, covering prize pots, premium swag, and on-site hospitality.
  • National all-inclusive packages: Bundles tournament entry, resort lodging, official practice rounds, exclusive swag drops, and automatic inclusion in the cash prize pot.

Why this structure wins for players

  • No hidden fees: Total transparency on where every dollar goes — greens fees, tech infrastructure, or prize pools.
  • Scalable commitment: Stay local for a standard greens fee, level up to regional events for prize opportunities, or go all-in at national tour stops for major earnings.
  • Built for the competitor: Every tier is structured to maximize value, ensure fair payouts, and reward performance without squeezing the player base.
Sanctioning standard

What makes an event ALL Sanctioned

Any host can run an event, but only sanctioned events count toward ALL-PI ratings and regional/national points standings. To be recognized as an ALL Sanctioned event it must meet both requirements below. Events that fall short still run — they're listed as exhibitions and results are not rated.

  • Minimum 8 confirmed participants

Counted across all tiers combined at the close of registration.

  • Registration open at least 14 days

Published open and close dates, so every eligible player has a fair chance to enter.

Scores must be submitted through ALL scoring or an approved confirmation system, and all players must be current ALL-PA members in good standing.
